BIO

Lilian Trifena, PMHNP, is a compassionate and empathetic mental health professional with a deep dedication to advocating for the mental well-being of individuals. Carrying a strong belief in treating each person holistically, Lilian approaches mental health care with deep respect for the unique experiences of every individual. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hesston College in Kansas and a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. Lilian’s diverse experience spans both acute care and mental health settings, allowing her to understand and address the complex needs of her patients. Her passion for mental wellness drives her to work tirelessly toward empowering patients to achieve emotional and psychological balance. When not seeing patients, Lilian enjoys traveling and trying new foods with her family, along with spending time with her golden retriever and cat. When working with me, my patients can expect a thorough and compassionate approach to their mental health. I take the time to listen to their concerns and gather a complete history to ensure an accurate diagnosis. While medication management is a key part of my role, I also provide counseling and support, working collaboratively to create a treatment plan that focuses on their overall well-being and long-term growth. My typical process involves creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where patients feel comfortable speaking freely about their concerns. I prioritize building a trusting, open relationship where patients feel heard and respected. I provide evidence-based treatment plans while also considering each patient’s preferences, tailoring a plan that aligns with both the best clinical practices and their individual needs. My goal is to collaborate closely with my patients, creating a plan of care that reflects their unique story and promotes their overall well-being.
